Carpenter and Cabinetmaker

Nick Wauson was an essential member of the crew from project inception to completion.

Nick is Steve's son.

His carpentry skills are evident in the exterior soffits and trim, interior door trims, and window trims, as well as columns and beams detail. He installed window jambs, siding, tongue and groove soffit, along with column and beam caps and details, and Cumaru decking with Alain Gueneu.

Nick balanced attending Texas State's Business School with working on the Buckeye House. In the process he became a first rate carpenter and also developed excellent cabinetmaking skills. Judging by the results it seems that he was paying close attention when hanging around with dad as a kid.
